I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples in private practice. I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and have advanced training in both psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. My clinical work is grounded in psychodynamic theory and is informed by a deep commitment to social justice and trauma-informed care.
Throughout my career, I held several leadership roles in mission-driven organizations. I served as Director at Housing Works, a nonprofit dedicated to ending the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. I later joined the Ali Forney Center as Senior Director of Drop-In Services, leading the nation’s largest 24-hour program for homeless LGBTQ youth. I continue my involvement with the organization as a member of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Programs and Youth Services Committee.
I also served as Executive Director of The National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP) Training Institute, where I oversaw postgraduate psychoanalytic and psychotherapy training. I currently serve as a member of the Board of Directors and Co-Director of NIP’s Psychodynamic Approaches Certificate Program.
My clinical expertise includes the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, gender identity and sexuality, and major life transitions. I am licensed to practice in New York State and am an active member of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Workers and the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work.
